I’ve never seen anyone post drafts or personal writing prompts outside of publications. It seems like a pretty neat way to drive collaboration and connectivity while also laughing at some of the ridiculous ideas that never made it past a minute or two of writing.

Maybe someone will find inspiration where I couldn’t. Anything that’s not hidden is up for grabs as a writing prompt or possible collaboration project.

38 Unfinished Drafts?

When I started writing for Medium, I read an article about, “How to be an Amazing Writer on Medium.”

One of its suggestions was to never leave unfinished stories in your draft folder too long because you’ll lose interest and succumb to procrastination.

I knew right away this wouldn’t work for me so I never even tried.

I actively use my draft folder for a few different things actually. It serves as a brainstorming environment, writing prompt storage, a place to save unfinished and in-process articles, and one more way to keep tabs on my progress as a writer.
