Anyone care to share their numbers?
I’ve been actively cleaning house in Medium to give myself the best environment possible to successfully spew stories unto the void.
In looking at my number of stories, a couple things stand out.
First, I have 44 unpublished drafts. That seems high. It probably is.
Next, I have 123 responses. That seems low. It probably is.
I have 32 published articles which feels low to me. But I did take a significant break from Medium, and I’ve published 13 of those 32 within the last 2 weeks which feels like a decent pace.
I’d like to be spitting out a story a day, a technical story a week, and a well researched project story every 2 weeks. Those seem like approachable goals.
I also need to start engaging with other writers more. I read a lot on here. But my attention span is low; I find myself immediately diving into the next story. I read Medium articles the same way the rest of the world watches TikTok.
