I couldn’t agree more! I started keeping a journal as I learned code and eventually decided to turn some of it into an article.

Better Programming ended up picking it up and I made over $100/month on that one article for 4 months. I still get around $20-$40/month since then and I started writing even more.

And it helped me across a few roadblocks as well as I was able to understand a lot more about what I was learning by sharing it with others.

It also helped my confidence. Teaching yourself to code can be a lonely journey filled with self doubt so any positive feedback helps immensely.
